The SIP Scholarship is a 9-month program of educational development for up-and-coming bartenders or bar backs in the UAE with a passion for their craft looking to accelerate their career. The 20 lucky selected recipients will receive and attend a broad range of tailor-made masterclasses and mentorship access from industry leading experts.

The carefully designed modules of education will cover topics such as – basic bar fundamentals and mixology technique, ingredient preparation and flavor extraction, knife and garnish skills, spirits and cocktail history, interpersonal communication and presentation skills, technical ice carving, and fundamentals in finance and costing amongst other topics to give a full and complete overview of the skills needed for success behind the bar.

As well as this the Scholars will receive accredited certifications from PBT (professional bar training) upon their successful completion as well as access to an array of other exclusive Pernod Ricard events and activations throughout the year.

The application window runs from February 7th to midnight on February 26th. Successful applicants will be notified via email by March 7th for their acceptance into the SIP Scholarship.
The SIP Scholarship is currently only available to hospitality workers who reside and work in Dubai & Abu Dhabi.
