Inspired by The Bar World of Tomorrow training, the self-assessment tool is designed to help bar owners and managers to identify Sustainability & Responsibility improvements within their own operations and implement concrete actions (sourcing, bar management, staff wellbeing, service).

This is a simple sustainability assessment tool which asks you 60 questions on the following areas about your bar operations:
Ingredients: 11 questions
Service: 13 questions
Bar: 17 questions
Staff: 12 questions
Implementations: 7 questions
Answering the questions should take no more than 60 minutes.

The person, or group of people filling out this assessment will need a good grasp on the purchasing decisions and day to day operations of your bar. Ideally a General Manager and bartender together. Please answer the assessment questions to the best of your ability, but don’t be afraid to answer ‘Unsure’ to any of the questions! We don’t all know everything! Our goal is to help you improve in incremental parts. No bar is the same and sustainability is a journey. The elements of this audit tool are not meant to trick or deceive, rather give a better perspective on where improvements can be made.

You will then be presented with your score out of 60, and emailed a Report which provides practical advice on how to improve on each question. You can save your progress along the way if you can’t answer it all at once and we will send you an email with a link to pick up where you left off.
