About this Event

National Scotch Day is celebrated on July 27th to honour the rich history and craftsmanship of Scotch whisky. The origins of Scotch whisky date back to the 15th century, with the earliest documented distillation recorded in 1494. Initially produced by monks for medicinal purposes, Scotch whisky evolved into a beloved spirit, deeply intertwined with Scottish culture and heritage.

If you're a whisky enthusiast looking to celebrate the day, why not try out our Classic Old Fashioned Scotch Cocktail Recipe:

50 ml Chivas 18
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
5 ml Sugar Syrup
Orange Zest, to garnish
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice for approximately 20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass with a large block of ice. Garnish with orange zest.

Raise your glass and toast to the timeless elegance of Scotch whisky with Chivas!
