Jameson Whiskey Sour
The whiskey sour is one of the best all-time classic cocktails. Invented in the 19th century, it's a must to have on your menu.

The Whiskey Sour is a cocktail steeped in History, a timeless classic that has been enjoyed by generations. Its origins trace back to the mid-19th century when sailors would mix their whiskey rations with lemon juice and a touch of sugar to prevent scurvy during long voyages.
Over the years, the Whiskey Sour made its way onto dry land, finding a home in saloons and bars across America. It quickly became a classic for its perfect balance of sweet, sour, and strong.

40cl Jameson Black Barrel
30cl Freshly squeezed lemon juice
20cl Simple syrup
1 egg white
3 dashes of Angustura Bitters
5 to 6 ice cubes
Garnish with a lemon zest

Fill a shaker with ice, and then add your Jameson Black Barrel, freshly-squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg white and 3 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Shake and strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass, before garnishing with a lemon twist.
